The Lowry is a theatre and gallery complex at Salford Quays, Salford, Greater Manchester, England. It is named after the early 20th-century painter L. S. Lowry, known for his paintings of industrial scenes in North West England. Our Lowry mini tea tins contain loose-leaf black tea; English Breakfast, English Afternoon & Earl Grey. Place your infuser filled with loose tea into your favourite cup and pour over freshly boiled water. Stir once, then let it steep until the flavour suits your taste. Remove the infuser and enjoy, or add a splash of milk if you prefer. For a smoother brew, try adding the milk to the cup first.
Top Tip
For a refreshing twist, swap the milk for a slice of lemon—especially delicious with Earl Grey.

Warm your teapot with a little boiling water, then pour it away. Add the loose tea and fill with freshly boiled water. Stir once and steep for 2–5 minutes. If not using an infuser, strain into your favourite cup before serving. Add milk and sugar to taste. Try pouring the tea into the milk for a smoother taste—but be careful not to over-do the milk!
Top Tip
For a refreshing twist, swap the milk for a slice of lemon—especially delicious with Earl Grey. If your teapot is a different size, follow the rule of 1 tsp per 200ml of water and adjust to your taste.
