London Fog Recipe by New English Teas

Ingredients:

  • 1 Earl Grey teabag or 1 tbsp loose Earl Grey tea
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1/2 cup of milk (any kind you prefer)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract or vanilla syrup
  • 1-2 tsp honey or sweetener of your choice (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Brew the Tea: Boil 1 cup of water and steep the Earl Grey tea bag for 3-5 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea. Remove the tea bag once done.
  2. Steam the Milk: Heat the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat, whisking continuously until it begins to froth and steam. Alternatively, use a milk frother or steam wand if you have one.
  3. Add Vanilla: Stir in the vanilla extract or syrup into the brewed tea. If you're using honey or another sweetener, add that as well.
  4. Combine: Pour the steamed milk into the brewed tea while holding back the froth with a spoon, then spoon the frothy milk on top.
  5. Serve: Give it a gentle stir, and your London Fog is ready! You can dust it with a bit of cinnamon or lavender if you want an extra aromatic touch.

Enjoy the creamy, fragrant comfort of this tea latte!
